Internet Fair Use Policy

The effective maximum speed depends on the a number of factors, among which the number of simultaneous users at a given moment, the distance and the quality of the line between your address and the switch, the quality of the home wiring and apparatus in use at your home.

Postpaid U

Items applicable to the Postpaid U service.

  • 3000 minutes are valid to SETAR mobile and does not include calling to SETAR fixed. 1000 SMS are valid for regular SMS to SETAR mobile (not premium). After using up the minutes and SMS, regular out-of-bundle rates will apply for calls to SETAR Mobile and Fixed.
  • Call set-up charge is Afl. 0,165 per call for all calls outside the bundle to SETAR Fixed.
  • Minutes for international calling include international numbers (fixed and mobile) to Colombia, USA-continent, Venezuela, The Netherlands, Dominican Republic, Peru, China, Bonaire, Curaçao, St. Maarten, St. Eustasius and Saba.
  • Data is based on Fair Use Policy (FUP). Once you reach the FUP limit, your speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps.
  • Rates per minute is billed per second.

Postpaid Regular

Items applicable to the Postpaid Regular service.

  • Minutes are valid for local calls to SETAR (mobile or fixed line) or to other local operators (OLO).
  • SMS are valid for standard local SMS to SETAR mobile (excl. premium SMS).
  • After using up the minutes and SMS, regular out-of-bundle rates will apply for calls to SETAR Mobile and Fixed.
  • Off-peak rates from Mon to Fri 8.00 pm to 8.00 am and weekends Fri to Mon 8.00 pm to 8.00 am.
  • Call set-up charge is Afl. 0,165 per call for all calls outside the bundle to SETAR Fixed.

Postpaid Regular Add-ons

Items applicable to Postpaid Regular Add-on services.

Surf & Mail Add-on

  • Surf & Mail Add-on is an add-on on your regular postpaid subscription. Surf & Mail Add-on is charged on a monthly basis and has no roll-over.
  • SETAR's data limit is based on our Fair Use Policy. After reaching FUP limit, mobile data speed will change in 128 Kbps.

SMS Bundle Add-on

  • SMS Bundle is an add-on on your regular postpaid subscription and is applicable for regular local SMS from SETAR to SETAR.
  • SMS Bundle is charged on a monthly basis and has no roll-over.
  • Regular Postpaid SMS Rate is Afl.0,15 per SMS SETAR to SETAR.

Hybrid

Items applicable to the Hybrid service.

  • Calls will be deducted from your Prepaid calling credit, depending on what time of the day you call (peak or off-peak).
  • After using up your calling credit you must recharge your mobile phone with a prepaid card in order to continue using our services.
  • Off-peak rates from Mon to Fr 8.00 pm to 8.00 am and weekends Fri to Mon 8.00 pm to 8.00 am.
  • Call set-up charge is Afl. 0,10 per call for all calls from a Prepaid mobile to a SETAR fixed.
  • Rates per minute is billed per second.
  • Data limit is based on Fair Use Policy (FUP). Once you reach the FUP limit, your speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps.

Prepaid

Items applicable to the Prepaid service.

  • Calls will be deducted from your Prepaid calling credit, depending on what time of the day you call (peak or off-peak).

Hybrid/Prepaid Add-ons

Items applicable to the Hybrid/Prepaid Add-on services.

Data Bundles

  • Check your phone model before activating a data bundle; this in order to see if the phone reaches its maximum speed that the bundle offers, which is up to 30 Mbps.
  • When your purchased bundle is depleted you can purchase a new bundle or, if you allowed Internet usage on your phone, you can continue using the Internet as a pay-as-you-go; which is more expensive.

Combi bundles

  • Fair use policy applies to all add-on packages.
  • Minutes are for on net calling (SETAR to SETAR mobile).
  • SMS are from SETAR to SETAR.

Internet

Items applicable to Internet services.

  • Digital Cable subscription is required.
  • Modem is included based on a loan (Afl. 25 deposit will be charged).
  • Data Limit is based on a Fair Use Policy.
  • Minimum contract period is 1 year.

Wireless Broadband

Items applicable to the Wireless Broadband service.

Postpaid

  • Data limit is based on Fair Use Policy (FUP). Once you reach the FUP limit, your speed will be reduced to 384/64 Kbps.

Prepaid

  • Data is based on a quota, data service will be hard stopped after reaching data limit or the amount of days. You can always buy extra data.
  • The service of LTE Wireless Broadband Prepaid Plans goes into effect as soon as the very first time you start using it. Even if you don’t make any further use of the LTE service, the validity of the card goes into effect the first time you use the service.
  • Payment method: With a Wireless Broadband Prepaid card available at SETAR Teleshops.

Digital Cable

Items applicable to the Digital Cable service.

  • Additional tiers available from Basic Mix Package or higher:

    Basic Tier Afl.10;
    Premium Tier Afl.19

  • Additional Standard Definition Box and High Definition Box prices vary depending on package.
  • Digital Video Recorder Box rental fee is Afl.25.
  • One-time rental deposit: Standard Definition Box Afl.25; High Definition Box Afl.20; DVR Afl.100.
  • PPV Adult: Afl.9,95 p/movie.
  • Playboy Package: Afl.16 p/month.
  • Adult Package: Afl.69 p/month or Afl.25 p/channel p/month.
  • Indian Total Package: Afl.40 p/month.
  • HBO on Demand and TEN on Demand are accessible on channel 1.

Fixed

Items applicable to the Fixed Line service.

TeleGratis (Plus)

  • Services not included in the package are charged on a monthly basis.
  • Free minutes are applicable when calling from a fixed phone to another fixed phone from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
  • Premium numbers such as 118,121 and short data calls are not included in the packages of TeleGratis & TeleGratis Plus.

Other Plans (TeleBasico/Tele60+/TeleAvansa)

  • The monthly subscription doesn’t include telephone rental, extra outlet etc.
  • Services not included in the package are charged on a monthly basis.

MiSETAR

Items applicable to the MiSETAR service.

MiSETAR & Request Registration

  • In order to use the ‘Request Registration’ feature on the SETAR website, you must be the primary account holder, provide valid I.D. and contact number. Forms without a Valid I.D. will not be handled further.
  • If the account you're requesting is not registered to you then you will need to visit a SETAR Teleshop with the account-holder in order to register for MiSETAR.
  • Business clients cannot register using the ‘Request Registration’ feature, instead must request access through their account manager.
  • SETAR reserves the right to refuse creation, deactivate and/or remove profiles upon the request of the primary account holder, and/or if all requirements are not met.
  • It is unlawful to misrepresent or impersonate another person in order to apply and register for any service including MiSETAR.
  • SETAR is not liable for any damage caused through use of products or services purchased through this website, be it indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages (including but not limited to damages for loss of business, loss of profits, interruption or the like). If you have any questions regarding the terms of use outlined here, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Corporate SMS

Items applicable to our Corporate SMS Solutions.

  • Short code numbers remain property of SETAR NV.
  • SETAR does not condone or allow spamming and/or misuse of its SMS services.
  • Customers must be informed of any charges attributed to the use of the SMS Service.
  • SMS messages can only be sent to users who 'opt in'.
  • Users must always be provided with the possibility to 'opt out' of the SMS service.
  • Short codes with none/low SMS traffic for a duration of two months will be evaluated by SETAR.
  • SETAR in its sole discretion is allowed to request to reclaim the short code number.

White Pages & 118 Directory

Items applicable to our White Pages and 118 Directory.

  • SETAR reserves the right to not list the number if not in compliance with SETAR’s Terms of Service.
  • SETAR provides no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy, reliability or completeness of user supplied data.
  • SETAR isn’t liable for any damages caused to client, by registration or listing their prepaid service number.
  • By submitting the White Pages Registration form, the customer verifies that he/she is the primary owner of the information and mobile number submitted.
